Do you offer local delivery?
Yes! We offer local delivery to the Hunter Valley and Newcastle areas. Please place your order at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we can get your fresh meats to you on time.
Where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver throughout the Hunter Valley and Newcastle regions. If you’re unsure whether your address is within our delivery zone, feel free to contact us.
Can I Click & Collect my order?
Absolutely. Click & Collect is available from our Rutherford store. Simply place your order online and allow at least 3 hours for us to prepare it. We’ll send you an email when your order is ready to pick up.
What is your returns policy?
Due to food safety regulations, we’re unable to accept returns on perishable food items once they’ve left our store. If there’s an issue with your order, please get in touch with us within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to make it right.
Where do you source your meat?
At 21st Century Meats, we take pride in sourcing our meat from trusted local and Australian farmers who prioritise ethical and sustainable farming practices.
How should I store my meat to keep it fresh?
To maintain the best quality and freshness of your meat, we recommend the following storage guidelines:
- Refrigeration: Store fresh meat in the coldest part of your fridge (at or below 4°C). Consume within 2–3 days for optimal freshness.
- Freezing: If you don’t plan to use the meat right away, wrap it tightly in freezer-safe packaging and store it in the freezer (at or below -18°C). Properly stored meat can last for several months without compromising taste or texture.
- Thawing: Always thaw frozen meat in the refrigerator overnight or use the defrost function on your microwave. Avoid thawing at room temperature to prevent bacterial growth.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale meat options?
Yes, we provide bulk and wholesale pricing for businesses, restaurants, catering services, and large events. Whether you need premium cuts of beef, lamb, pork, or poultry in larger quantities, we can accommodate your needs. We also offer custom butchery services for specific cuts and portion sizes.
